Corpo e Mar (2026)

Corpo e Mar– James Spencer

There are nights when the sea breathes against the shore like a lover—slow, deliberate, certain of its power. CORPO E MAR was born in that tide.

James Spencer invite you into a lush cinematic reverie: a chamber bossa nova confession of salt air, candlelight, and bare skin warmed by moonlit balconies. Fourteen original compositions unfold like silk shirts unbuttoned at dusk—unhurried, confident, intimate.

Cocktail piano shimmers in low lamplight.

A lilting cello moves like hips beneath linen.

Acoustic guitar murmurs close to the ear.

Breezy bossa nova percussion pulses—steady as a heartbeat under tropical stars.

Recorded with the choicest Brazilian studio musicians, CORPO E MAR evokes the erotic coastal mystique of Rio in the 1960s—where desire was understated, masculine, and elegant. This is not the fever of the carnival; it is the after-hours terrace. The final drink. The lingering glance. The ocean humming below.

There is strength in its restraint.

Heat in its quiet.

Peace in its surrender.

This album does not chase you.

It waits.

And when you step closer, it surrounds you—body and sea, breath and tide, rhythm and release.
